The Cleveland Museum of Art

As part of our collaboration with The Cleveland Museum of Art, we created a jacquard-knit blanket inspired by A Stag at Sharkey’s by George Bellows, painted in 1916. The image—raw, dynamic, and distinctly American—was reinterpreted through the structure of digital knitting, using layers of cotton yarn to recreate the energy of the original brushstrokes.

This piece was designed to feel substantial, like the painting itself—bold, grounded, and full of movement. Made in Cleveland using our jacquard knitting process, the blanket is a tribute to both the city’s art history and its manufacturing future.
